Our accelerated, 100% online didactic program features seven-week courses that fit around your schedule, with in-person practicum hours that connect classroom knowledge to real-world impact. It the ideal balance of flexibility and hands-on experience攁llowing you to grow as both a clinician and a leader. You may transfer up to 96 credits, including up to 40 credits from an associate degree in nursing, and complete your BSN in as little as 16 months.

Taught by experienced nurse educators, the curriculum emphasizes evidence-based practice, nursing informatics, research, and community health. You檒l deepen your understanding of care delivery, explore emerging health technologies, and strengthen your ability to advocate for equitable access to quality care.

In addition to coursework, students complete 30 hours of community service and a community or teaching/learning project, guided by practicum faculty who help connect academic learning with real-world nursing practice.

The Curriculum

贰尘尘补苍耻别濒 RN-to-BSN program requires 128 credits (32 courses). A cumulative grade point average of C+ or higher is required for completion of this degree. Courses for the RN-to-BSN degree are offered online in seven-week sessions, which are conducted throughout the calendar year.

At the completion of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program, the student will:

  1. Expand a personal philosophy of nursing through reflection on the Catholic intellectual tradition to effect positive outcomes for care-recipients within the context of their environments.
  2. Assume accountability for evidence and knowledge-based nursing practice and responsibility for involvement as a citizen knowledgeable in interprofessional health care systems.
  3. Practice as a professional nurse whose care-giving activities reflect the analysis of theoretical knowledge from the liberal arts, sciences, nursing and evidence-based practice.
  4. Integrate into the culture of nursing the concepts of caring that foster a relationship between caregiver and care recipient, which results in the achievement of mutually agreed upon outcomes on the health/illness continuum.
